Medical Device Sales Summer Internship

The Arthrex Piedmont Plus Internship Program is designed to provide valuable insights into the dynamic field of medical device sales and the broader healthcare industry. Interns will have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced sales representative and our Medical Education team, gaining hands-on experience, and industry knowledge. We are looking for someone fun, excited, and eager to go into the medical sales industry!

Internship Responsibilities

  • Acquire selling skills, understand processes, and master instrument use techniques through coaching and mentoring provided by the sales team, director of medical education, and leadership.

  • Shadow and support team members.

  • Transportation of kits to and from accounts. 

  • Learn about the diverse aspects of the business, including inventory management, medical education, and client support. 

  • Attend training sessions, labs, and workshops to acquire in-depth knowledge of medical devices and their applications. 

  • Assist in various business functions, contributing to the overall success of the organization.

  • Interns are expected to abide by the Piedmont Plus Code of Conduct.

  • Interns may be required to complete tasks, log hours, projects, or any other assignment as determined by the agency.

 

Internship Details 

  • This is a 3 week unpaid internship, requiring 30-35 hours per week.

  • Start and End Dates: Flexible to Interns schedule but must be 3 consecutive weeks.

  • Interns are expected to work Monday through Friday with hours flexible to the department and work for the week, averaging 8 hours per day.

 

Qualifications

  • Current junior or senior college student.

  • A minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA or above at the time of application and start date.

  • Current Driver’s License 

  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

  • Capacity to stand for extended periods. 

  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

  • ​Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team. 

  • Clear criminal background check.
